Stay tuned for the commencement speech by African American technologist Mr. John Thompson, a current Microsoft Board Chairman, Virtual Instruments CEO, former head of Symantec Corp and a Florida A&M University alum.

Thompson, the CEO of Virtual Instruments, received his bachelor's degree in business administration from FAMUís School of Business and Industry (SBI) in 1971 and was inducted into the FAMU SBI Hall of Fame in 2011. He earned a master's degree in management from the Sloan Fellows program of the MIT Sloan School of Management and has held top positions at some of todayís premiere technology companies, including a 10-year stint at Symantec as its CEO and chairman.
